The Axiom Pyro is an overstable midrange with a strong, dependable fade. Its stability holds up under power and in wind, which makes it the disc to reach for when a neutral midrange would get pushed off line. The Pyro handles forehand approaches, spike hyzers, and controlled overstable lines, and its GYRO overmold gives it strong torque resistance on hard releases. It keeps enough glide to reach real distance rather than dropping short. This is a good pairing with a neutral midrange like the Hex, covering the shots that a straight-flying mold cannot. Newer players will find it quite overstable and may prefer lighter weights.

Common questions

Is the Axiom Pyro overstable?
Yes. It has no high-speed turn and a strong fade, which makes it dependable in wind and on powerful throws where a neutral midrange would turn over.
What is the Pyro good for?
Forehand approaches, spike hyzers, windy conditions, and any midrange line that needs a reliable finish rather than a straight flight.
What is Prism Plasma plastic?
Plasma is a premium Axiom blend with a metallic sheen, and the Prism version layers multiple colors for a distinctive look. It keeps the durability and firm feel of Axiom's premium plastics.
